Has the OAuth community considered Mark Nottingham’s idea?

It uses URI templates and new HTTP headers (Link-Template) with rel attributes to produce a much clearer and cleaner syntax for this problem space. All I have seen so far is this one “fleshed-out example”, but it looks promising.

URI templates alone would improve OAuth.
